Sunscreen Sun Lotions
Sunscreen Lotions for Summer Skin Protection
Spending the day out in the sun without protection can mean a bad sunburn now and permanent damage to your skin
in the future. Sunscreen, faceblock, and bodyblock can help prevent damage to your skin including skin cancer. Using sunscreen can prevent
your skin not only from prematurely ageing, but from getting sun spots. Sun spots are brown spots on your skin that
just develop anywhere they please on sun exposed portions of your body. Applying sunscreen to your face and any parts
of your body that will exposed to direct sunlight is highly recommended. Sunscreens are available offering different
levels of UV protection. If your playing outdoor sports all day or spending the day at the beach, you should use the
maximum sunscreen, which is 45 UV protection. The average suncreen protection is 30 UV.
When purchasing sunscreen, the Sun Protection Factor or SPF measures how effectively the sunscreen formula limits skin exposure to UV-B rays that burn the skin. The higher the SPF the more protection the sunscreen will provide against UV-B rays. SPF does not measure UV-A. If you are looking for UV-A protection, the experts recommend that you purchase a product that has broad-spectrum protection.
